Twenty‑year‑old Milania Giudice, daughter of former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, was arrested in New Jersey on May 14 and charged with simple assault, with the case still active and a court date set for May 19. Milania Giudice, daughter of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, is facing legal trouble after being arrested last month.

The 20-year-old was arrested in New Jersey on May 14 and charged with one count of simple assault purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury, according to court records obtained by USA TODAY. The case is listed as active and shows Giudice had a court date on May 19. The U.S. Sun was the first to report the news Thursday, June 11.

The details of the alleged incident remain unknown and no plea has been publicly entered, per records. Giudice, who is active on her social media platforms, posted a TikTok video the day of her arrest, posing to a sound that said, "You are a diva. A young, beautiful diva."

'RHONJ' star Teresa Giudice daughters, family legal troubles

Milania Giudice is one of reality star Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband Joe Giudice's four daughters, along with Gia, 25, Gabriella, 22, and Audriana, 16. The family has documented their lives on Bravo's "RHONJ" since its debut in 2009, when Milania Giudice was just 9.

Cameras even followed Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice's yearslong legal battle over charges for financial crimes, which ultimately landed them both behind bars.

In March 2014, the former couple pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and three types of bankruptcy fraud, after racking up $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failing to file a 2004 tax return.

Teresa Giudice served 11 months of a 15-month sentence the following year. Joe Giudice reported to prison after her release to serve a 41-month sentence, and he was deported to Italy upon his release in 2019 because he is an Italian citizen.

Although he moved to the United States as an infant, Joe Giudice never applied for citizenship and remained a lawful permanent resident or green card holder, which can be taken away if a person commits certain crimes. He now lives in the Bahamas, where Milania Giudice and her silbings have traveled to see him several times.
