Most of the musical acts originally announced for President Donald Trump's Great American State Fair, also called the Freedom 250 festival, have withdrawn, citing concerns about partisanship and safety. A handful of performers, including Fab Morvan (as Milli Vanilli), Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice and Freedom Williams, remain on the lineup for the June 25–July 10 event on the National Mall.
Days after the musical lineup was announced for President Donald Trump's Great American State Fair, the majority of the performers have now backed out.
Only a few performers remain from the list of nine acts announced for the Freedom 250 festival, which celebrates the 250th birthday of the United States.
Here's who has canceled their performances, and who still hasn't.
Who has canceled their performances at the Freedom 250 festival?
Martina McBride is among the latest cancelations, writing in a post on X Thursday that she was misled in being told the event would be nonpartisan.
Brett Michaels also announced his cancelation Thursday, saying the event had turned into "something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of."
"Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable," Michaels said.

They join The Commodores, Young MC, Morris Day & The Time as acts who will no longer perform at this summer's festival.
As for R&B group Milli Vanilli, the group's original and real vocalists said they would not be performing.
"Others using the name 'Milli Vanilli' that appear on the advertisement should be considered a tribute band with no association vocally or musically to our sound of songs," the group said on Facebook.
It's unclear if the performers who backed out will be replaced.
Who is still performing at the Great American State Fair?
Although Milli Vanilli will not be performing in its original form, Fab Morvan — one of the group's members — will perform under the Milli Vanilli name.
“I am here to entertain and unite people, not divide them,” Morvan said in a statement sent to Consequence. “Let’s celebrate life & music and take a trip down memory lane. I feel honored to be a part of the Great American State Fair as it will celebrate the 250 Year Anniversary of America with so many other accomplished artists. Looking forward to reconnecting with you across the USA this summer and to finally sing Milli Vanilli songs live in person!”
Flo Rida remains on the lineup, but the "Low" singer" has not commented on his part in the festival.
Vanilla Ice — of "Ice, Ice Baby" fame — is also still a part of the festivities. In a statement to NBC News, his representation said the singer is "contracted and will perform at the Great American Fair at the National Mall on Friday, June 26. He is proud to help celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary!”
C+C Music Factory vocalist Freedom Williams said he was not informed of Trump's affiliation with the event, but told his followers in a profanity-laced video tirade on Instagram he will still play despite backlash he has received.
C+C Music Factory co-creator Robert Clivilles, however, said he does not endorse the Freedom 250 event.
"Any political, ideological, religious, or personal viewpoints expressed by Freedom Williams are his own and should not be interpreted as reflecting my views," he wrote on X.
The Great American State Fair will take place June 25-July 10 on the National Mall in Washington DC.
