Melania Trump attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in New Jersey wearing a sporty, all‑American outfit featuring American designers, while the match showcased a star‑studded pre‑game ceremony and an extensive halftime show.

On Sunday, July 19, the first lady attended the match between Spain and Argentina alongside President Donald Trump at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

She paid homage to the United States in American designers, with a sporty-chic look that featured a tan nylon tech track jacket by Thom Browne, equipped with a patriotic red, white and blue striped collar, styled over a white Gap T-shirt and white Ralph Lauren belted trousers. She topped off her look with a pair of oversized-aviator sunglasses.

This wasn't the first time Trump turned to Thom Browne for a crisp white look. Over the Fourth of July weekend, the first lady sported a white shirt dress by the designer, which featured the same signature red, white and blue collar accents as her World Cup ensemble.

This World Cup final, which saw Spain's Lamine Yamal defeat Argentina's Lionel Messi, was a spectacle filled with starry performances and A-list appearances. Tom CruisePost Malone and Swae Lee, Robbie WilliamsNicole Scherzinger, Italian superstar Laura Pausini and streamer IShowSpeed took to the field for a pre-game closing ceremony.

Later, Jennifer Hudson sang the national anthem in a custom white Thom Browne look, which featured a tailored, silk crepe jacket that had navy silk piping, a red, white and blue embroidered armband and a matching satin lace-up back. The jacket was paired with a white pencil skirt and corset top.

The final match also featured an 11-minute halftime show starring ShakiraMadonnaBTSJustin BieberColdplay's Chris Martin, and even the Muppets, including Kermit and Miss Piggy.

Also in the stands were Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Matt Damon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Victoria and David Beckham, Javier Bardem, Jon Hamm, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner.
