"Saturday Night Live" just treated fans to the "Avengers" of "Weekend Update" segments.

Former "Weekend Update" anchors Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Seth Meyers reunited during the Oct. 11 episode of "SNL," returning behind the desk alongside current anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che.

"My first wife and my second wife, everybody," Poehler joked, pointing to Fey and Meyers.

The trio participated in a "joke off" game, where all five competed to deliver the best joke for a news story. The story was about a woman in Tennessee giving birth to a 13-pound baby, and the five comedians buzzed in to toss off rapid-fire punchlines.

"It's Tennessee, and the baby was also pregnant," Fey joked, while Meyers quipped, "Did she give birth to it, or did it drive out?"

Fey and Poehler anchored "Weekend Update" together from 2004 to 2006. Fey had previously hosted the segment with Jimmy Fallon. After Fey left "SNL," Poehler hosted the satirical news segment with Meyers until 2008. Meyers then anchored solo through 2013 following Poehler's "SNL" exit and was later joined by Cecily Strong. Jost and Che have anchored together since 2014.

Fey and Poehler have worked together numerous times outside of "SNL," including hosting the Golden Globe Awards together four times, most recently in 2021.

This wasn't Fey and Poehler's only reunion on "SNL" this week. At the start of the episode, which was hosted by Poehler, Fey played a gun-toting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noemduring a cold open where Poehler starred as Attorney General Pam Bondi.

"I'm the rarest type of person in Washington, DC: a brunette that Donald Trump listens to," Fey as Noem declared in sketch.

In addition to being a former "SNL" cast member, Fey was also formerly head writer for the show, and she famously played Sarah Palin during the 2008 election cycle.
