What factors contributed to Kidman's 19-year marriage ending?
Where did Kidman and Urban first meet in 2005?
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are closing the chapter on their nearly 20-year marriage with an agreement on how to amicably coparent their teen daughters.
The stars' divorce was finalized Tuesday, Jan. 6, according to filings in Tennessee's Davidson County Circuit Court reviewed by USA TODAY. The couple, both 58, agreed to a parenting plan and have waived their rights to spousal and child support.
Their daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 15-year-old Faith Margaret, will primarily live with the "Babygirl" actress, spending 306 days of the year with their mother and every other weekend with their father, according to the final decree of divorce signed by Circuit Court Judge Stephanie J. Williams.
Urban and Kidman will be jointly responsible for making major decisions about their daughters while they are minors; Sunday Rose turns 18 on July 7.
USA TODAY has reached out to the couple's reps for comment.

Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman were living separately before divorce
Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Sept. 30, one day after news of the couple's separation became public.
Kidman's complaint, signed Sept. 29 and obtained by The Nashville Tennessean – part of the USA TODAY Network – confirmed the two have been living in separate Nashville homes. The grounds for the divorce were "irreconcilable differences," Kidman wrote.
Kidman and Urban, 58, first met two decades ago in Los Angeles and married just over a year later near Sydney, Australia. They celebrated their 19th anniversary on June 25, 2025.
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1991 to 2001, and they adopted two children, Isabella "Bella" Cruise and Connor Cruise.
Years after the end of their relationship, Kidman mused that difference in maturity with Cruise factored into their divorce, telling Vanity Fair in 2013: "I was a child, really, when I got married. And I needed to grow up."
Following the Cruise split, Kidman encountered Urban in 2005, reportedly while attending the G'Day USA Arts Gala.

"It was my (38th) birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York," Kidman told People magazine in 2019 of Urban's courtship. "That is when I went, 'This is the man I hope I get to marry.'" She continued, "I believed by that point he was the love of my life."
