Denise Richards is revealing more details about the alleged abuse she suffered from estranged husband Aaron Phypers.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum took the stand Monday, Oct. 6, during a hearing related to her temporary restraining order against her ex, following years of alleged physical and verbal abuse.
The "Starship Troopers" actress, 54, wore a blue leather mini-dress to the Los Angeles hearing, in which she spoke of multiple instances of alleged abuse at the hands of Phypers, 53. On the stand, Richards recounted the incident in July that led to their split, in which the businessman got "volatile" with her after she had just gotten a facelift, People and Fox News report.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Phypers and Richards for comment.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers allegations, explained
In a July 16 restraining order request, Richards alleged abuse at the hands of Phypers, attached a photo of a black eye she said Phyper gave her, said he has given her multiple concussions and explained how he threatened to kill her.
"Throughout our marriage, Aaron threatened to kill me and himself and the police. He owns at least 8 unregistered guns," Richards attested in the documents previously obtained by USA TODAY.
In a July 17 statement to People magazine and Us Weekly, Phypers denied his estranged wife's claims of physical and emotional abuse, slamming the allegations as "completely false and deeply hurtful."
"Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone," Phypers told the outlets. "Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience and respect."
